Overview
The NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 is a versatile telephoto zoom lens designed for Nikon Z-series mirrorless cameras. Its constant f/2.8 aperture provides strong low-light performance and pleasing background separation, while the 70–180mm range covers everything from portraits to sports, events, and wildlife.
Despite its bright aperture, the lens is relatively lightweight and compact, making it practical for handheld shooting and travel. Its fast autofocus, close-focusing capability, and video-friendly performance also make it useful for both photographers and content creators.
Overall, it is a flexible lens for situations where you need reach, subject isolation, and a bright aperture without carrying a much larger professional telephoto zoom.
